Does she have stability problems, perhaps?

Yes, her sense of absolute entitlement (fueled by dopes like the KOmmie KOoks) has unbalanced whatever brain she started out with.

I just wonder if it doesn't go farther than that. She certainly has emotional problems based on her low threshhold to anger. There may be more at play than we are aware of.

But would her sense of entitlement simply cause her to withdraw from social contact because of the injury to it from this forced run-off? Good questions.

Her sense of entitlement is also fueled by her daddy, Billy McKinney, who was a fixture in Georgia politics for many years:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cynthia_McKinney

"Her political career began in 1986 when her father, Billy McKinney, a representative in the Georgia House of Representatives, submitted his daughter's name as a write-in candidate for the Georgia state house. She received about 40 percent of the popular vote despite the fact that she lived in Jamaica at the time with then-husband Coy Grandison (with whom she had a son, Coy McKinney, now age 16). In 1988, McKinney ran for the same seat and won, making the McKinneys the first father and daughter to simultaneously serve in the Georgia state house."
