In China's view, the currents of power in the Middle East are about to change. Hezbollah's leader, Sheikh Hassan Nasrallah, is fast emerging as a popular folk hero. His army's ability to hold out against Israel for more than two weeks is inspiring the proverbial Arab street--as well as Arab artists and intellectuals--in a manner not seen since Egyptian President Gamal Abdel Nasser electrified the Middle East--and the Third World--by nationalizing the Suez Canal....

Oh come on dude, Nasrallah's "Army" is a bunch of murderers hiding behind civilians armed with a bunch of high tech rockets that they don't build. About any gang could hold out for 2 weeks.

As long as Condi doesn't pull the rug out from under them, Israel will eventually remind the Arab "street" why they don't put on uniforms and fight the IDF like men.

This "expert" needs to deliver the Kung Pao chicken ,and leave the analysis to real experts.

I think you missed the point. The article ends by saying Israel could probably wipe the floor with all of them. But there is no denying that the Hezbollah is turning out to be a formidable force. You should read the Israeli press--Haaretz, Jerusalem Post, Yediot Achronot (Y Net). They are all writing about this. Hezbollah had 6 years to prepare. In 1967 Israel defeated the combined Arab armies in 6 days. It's different this time. Neither Israel nor the US should ever underestimate an enemy. That kind of thinking led to 9/11. The smart thing is to take the scum at their word, assume the worst, and utterly defeat and destroy them by any and all necessary means.
