More importantly, so is the black community. I heard somewhere the number is around 75%. That is truly sad.
However, let a white person bring this up as a legitimate social problem, and that person is immediately labeled a racist. All the while the black community ignores the 800lb gorilla in the living room. This lack of a two parent household can be directly linked to almost all of the social woes suffered by the black community.
I think it's time to un-rewrite history. The Democrats in this country were against emancipation, a Republican President did it. The Democrats were against civil rights for blacks, the Republicans did it. Now, the Democrats have just found a subtle way of imposing a form of slavery on Black America. It's called welfare, and it encourages, and rewards illegitimacy. I also makes a whole class of people completely dependent on another. Except for the cotton field, which is now the public housing facility, and the whip, which has been replaced by the threat of straying off the Democrat plantation, where's the difference?
A whole race of people being kept from their full potential, because they've been led to believe they can't succeed without the white Democrat masters help.
Makes my stomach turn just thinking about it.
