I saw that and was curious if you'd seen ANY DUmmie pointing out that this is a BAD sign.

Wasn't something similar supposed to happen prior to the 2004 election? I seem to remember predictions of our threat advisory level going to red right before the elections so the administration could implement martial law.

Man I must have missed all the fun.

Evidence suggests that, if hatred had mass, no aircraft could lift even a single DUmmie.
---
If hatred were mass, nothing could possibly stop the DUmmies from crashing through the ground and falling to the center of the earth.

They are the neutron stars of hatred.

Oh, boy. The word got out somehow. Martial law (or is that 'Martian law'?), the elections are suspended, we'll rule the globe by November. How could Karl Rove allow our agenda to become public? How dare he?
---
Karl had promised me France. Oh, fudge. I was looking forward to completely renovating the Versailles Palace, bringing into the 21st Century. And having the Mona Lisa right above my computer monitor.

Were the arrests timed to drown out news coverage of Lamont victory?

Yeah, DUmmie. We timed this bombshell to go off right after Lieberman loses, instead of timing it for right before the Connecticut primary.

I really don't know. That was before my time on FR and I wasn't paying that much attention to politics. Sorry I can't help with that.

They don't keep "topping" temselves. They keep "bottoming" themselves.

Wish there was some way to take their shovels away so they would have to follow the first rule of holes.

A normal person would hear that the plot had been infiltrated and think "good, our intelligence services are doing their job". A DUmmie, on the other hand, only hears this same information in the light of "how can this be used to support the theory that Bush or Rove is behind it", and therefore it magically fits the crazy theory, because the correct and normal explanation doesn't even occur to them.
---
When you're schizophrenic, the voices in your head tell you that everything is a plot against you. All you have to do is listen to them.

Wow. This is really, really dumb, even for them. Usually they're hateful and insane, but this is just dumb. Drooling dumb. Save-time-by-using-a-hair-dryer-in-the-shower dumb. Give-your-kid-a-bag-of-broken-glass-for-Christmas dumb.

I notice that some big changes are coming to Blogger.Com. Does anybody out there know if one of those changes includes the ability to remove "BlogSpot" from the URL address and have our own unique address? I would be willing to pay for this.

With all due respect, I don't know why this bothers bloggers. If a blog is good, like DUFU or Malkin's blog, I'll go there even if the address has "bop-shebop-shebop-rama-lama-ding-dong" in it, and if it sucks, I won't go to it even if the address is "ablog.com."

Furthermore, the timing of the arrests, as the article immediately makes clear, was chosen for political reasons.

What I find truly amazing (beyonfd my assessment in post 52) is how these people wrap their whole life up in politics, but then they can't understand that there's a reason it's called an "October Surprise" and not an "August Surprise."

Great! Good to have another FReeper in the neighborhood! We'll get this Eurotrash straightened out in no time.

Uh, but there is one little thing... The prior owners were, well, a problem, and the wife wants me to say something, you know how wives are...

Do you think you could keep your goose-stepping minions out of the rosebushes?

Every liberal I know fears and hates Bush more than the terrorists, while they think that the conservatives are a theocracy.....they just can't reason.

Yes, it's amazing how many people think the very participation of churchgoers in the electoral process in an effective manner means we live in a theocracy, but the effective participation in the electoral process by secularists and their hangers-on (or imposition of secularist values on us by unelected court oligarchs) means we live in a representative republic with perfect religious freedom.

It seems that there is a group of DUmmies and RINOs and UN types that would like us to fight terrorists while standing on one foot, blindfolded, one hand tied behind our back and a large "Kick Me" sign on the seat of our pants.

But if I want to print up cards or other material with the URL, "BlogSpot" takes up too much room. Also a lot of people type out the URL from memory. Oh, and then I would like to print up DUFU T-Shirts and want the URL as short as possible.

If it bothers you that much, just buy a domain with forwarding at GoDaddy or some such. I note you already own "dummiefunnies.com" -- see if you can just have that set up to redirect to blogspot.

Yes. I already own DUmmieFUnnies.com and I could do a redirect but it seems to make more sense for the material to actually be on a site that says "dummiefunnies.com." Worse comes to worse, I'll do the redirect routine but prefer the other solution IF BlogSpot ever makes that service available. Angelfire does.
