Believe it or not I actually met the guy. Off air he and his wife are very nice (probably typical of pros that their "off-air" and "on-air" personas are distinct).
Malloy has made a career of being "too hot to handle", and his 2 year stint at AAR is a long one for him. He has a large internet following and apparently is already making other deals... the AAR firing will probably be one of his big promotional points.
Look: Limbaugh, Hannity, Coulter, Malloy, Springer... it's ALL SHOWBIZ. They are all paid to ENTERTAIN, not to inform or enlighten.
Case in point: Bill Maher and Ann Coulter are best friends. Tell me that al this on-air bloviating is for real...
