Interesting. Much more from Canada and Mexico than Venezuela - I didn't know Venezuela was a member of OPEC.

This is like the "Myth Busters".

The other urban legends out there perpetuated by the MSM which brought us stories of global oil reserves running out by the year 2000 in the late 70s, and $5 a gallon fuel half a year ago, is the amount of oil we import as a ratio of our consumption. If you discount off shore drilling, if you discount NAFTA member states Canada and Mexico, if you then round up the ratio you get that we import 2/3rds of our consumption. In reality the US covers over 51% of demand just in the continental US (Not even counting off shore), which already debunks the media hyped trash.
