The sky isn't falling. High ranking officers typically travel by helicopters. Unless there is more evidence, it was luck of the draw. Just guessing, but they were probably returning from a meeting. There is a regular bus service using Helos over there. But it could have been worse. When I was over there, it was not unusual for me, a LtCol, to get bumped, so we are lucky it wasn't a general and a pile of colonels. In fact, I got bumped so often, that I stopped even trying to get on a helo and as a matter of course went by ground transportation.

Rabid Paranoia is a mental illness. Seek professional help immediately. While you are at it. Quit acting as an Al Qeda Propagandist on a topic you clearly know NOTHING about.

If there's evidence that the aircraft was brought down due to any specific intel gathered by the enemy, it hasn't been released nor should it be for OPSEC reasons. It could simply be a case of a target of opportunity that happened to have a full load of pax on board.

How did you manage to come up with your numbers when CNN is reporting 2 dead? Are you lying to us perhaps?

Excuse me, both CNN and the US Military list it as a crash. Helicopters crash. It almost odd they do not do it more often. They are possibly one of the fragilest air crafts know to man. There is nothing that indicates it was hostile action.
How do you explain that the two black hawks in Somalia were brought down by RPGS, not "sophisticated missiles"?
Perhaps you should put your chicken little impression on hold. Mindless rumor mongering and hysteric about Iraq does neither you credibility, nor the war effort, any good.
