FYI - Hunter raised a little over 1 mil for his district seat in 2006. I don't think it too far a stretch to say he could raise 6-8 mil for a national run. It would really depend on the politics over principal crowd. If they had any guts, they would stand up for what they believed in (well, maybe they are ??).

"Rudy McRomney" will will probably raise $100 million. $6-8 million is chump change. That's not enough to make a dent.
