QUICK! Get this kid some prozac! (Nutty Greenpeace Ad)
The Hairy Beast - Come, let's waste your precious time! ^

Upon watching this video advertisement from Greenpeace the first words that sprang to The Beasts mind were Wicked creepy. Why waste ten bucks at the local cineplex to watch the origins of Hannibal Lechter when you can see it here for free?
Maybe its just The Beast, but are the Enviroes getting ever more sinister by the day? They want you fired, they want you arrested, they want to destroy your livelihood and now they are attracting proto-serial murderers. Whats next - solar powered concentration camps for Global Warming Deniers? Guarenteed, this kid would be at least a guard, if not Kommandante.
What shall we call this new environmental youth-thug army this kid hints is coming? The Greenshirts?
This Beast is amazed that the wack-jobs over at Greenpeace are apparently so rage-driven and ideologically isolated that they actually thought people who saw this video fantasy would react positively to it, instead of seeing it for what it is: a violent, totalitarian wet dream.

I had to turn it off after 15 seconds. I hate moonbats using kids to spew propaganda.

Yeah, that kid is a good actor though. Still, is this how we want to teach our kids to talk to adults?
Again the amazing thing about this ad is - those Greenpeace guys watched it and thought it was good! What the hell is wrong with these people?

OK kid, I'm against your "future" you little bastard.
Tell your old man (if you have one) that I said to "bring it on."
Was that ad supposed to scare people? Spit.

Greenpeace should be on a terrorist watch list Yeah the kid was hinting at the end of dialogue ("this is the last time I'll be talking to you adults - you've had your chance..." and direct action. What does that mean? Dang.

Was that ad supposed to scare people? Spit. The kid is just channeling the wackiness of those Greenpeace loonies.

Yeah well, I know he's an actor/kid, but I don't take kindly to that crap.
I appreciate the warning from the wackos though.
Cocked and locked.

That ad makes me want to spank that kids ass until he drops his smart aleck scowl. Agreed, but it is important to note that Greenpeace think this behavior is GOOD. This is they way Greenpeace fantasizes all kids should act. This scenario of our children turning on us if we don't play ball with the Enviro-Left is reminiscent of the teachings of totalitarian governments: "kids turn in your parents if you hear them saying bad things about The Party or The Great Leader", etc.

Jaysun,
Funy you should mention that - The Beast updated the story, putting up a letter from the kid's dad on the site. Look at it again.

I've never had any doubt that the enviro-left is crazy and dangerous. I've never understood why they're given so much say on matters such as drilling in Alaska or logging.

Jonah Goldberg of NRO had the funniest response to-date:
At first, I thought the appropriate response would be to slap the kid. But even better would be to muss-up his hair and say "That was great, Skippy. I'm going to tell your teacher to give you a gold star."
Hehe - "Skippy"...

Yes, I like that better than my earlier angry post.
Laughing at the wackos really pisses them off.

LOL. Excellent.

Laughing at the wackos really pisses them off. Yeah they hate it when you act as if they are too pathetic to be taken seriously enough to even bother getting mad at.
