I was unable to post a blog the past few days because my Comcast Cable connection was either down or slow as mollasses.
Let me know if you want on the DUmmie FUnnies PING List.

I enjoyed his liveblog on Kos a couple of weeks ago and was thrilled with his response to my question...
Will you be at Yearly Kos this August? He said yes, as he was last year. Like, OMG, like, he breathed in my general direction! Like, I've been honored by the answer "YES". Like OMG!

PJ, I'm very surprised that you haven't had any Lieberman DF posts lately. They are going insane there over his threat to switch parties.

I was waiting earnestly the other day when I had some spare time in the morning to beat the ping but alas, there was no DUFU forthcoming and I was left without my triumph.
Now I log on and I see that I am cheated of the Top Spot.
I will rule again however! I will rule again.

Now even more than ever, am hoping for Gore to jump in. This morning on one of Fox News' Saturday morning business shows, one of the segments was devoted to speculation about Gore possibly getting a push to get into the 2008 race because of...get this...his anticipated Oscar win this weekend.

"That said, I'm trying to remember any other candidate in the last few cycles who entered the race (as opposed to forming an exploratory committee) and then withdrew in such short order, so long before the first voting."
He waited until Lent because he didn't want to read CH's inevitable "WEAR the BEAR" puns.

That we're supposed to be the greatest Democracy on the face of the earth and a serious, well-qualified candidate drops out of the race because of the MONEY it takes to conduct a campaign?!!! This is SICK!The childish whine of the unemployed liberal.
I just love it when liberals, who are so concerned with how *I* should be spending MY money that they want to take it from me and spread it around, get all outraged about how it takes money to make a candidate a player.
If someone isn't savvy enough to figure out how to attract people to part with their money in order to promote the values they share with a candidate, what exactly are his or her qualifications for being the most powerful person on the planet?
These DUmmies would say that someone can be qualified to be president even if they're unemployed and living in their mom's basement. They are unserious, silly people who whine about the power of money because it makes them seem hip or something, when it only makes them look disingenuous and ignorant of reality.
