The article is fine. But we must remember the Marine Corps., this DOD, and Administration are not anti-war activist.
There are things at work here that must be corrected, so that similiar cases do not come to be. The NCIS has proven they cannot be trusted. The JAG Corps., has shown it is not all some may think it be.
The L/MSM are not holding these Marines or the Pendelton eight in bad conditions and making their lives miserable along with their families.
Let us be careful to distinguish between just who is hold these Marines under the gun.
And the ex-Marine moron can squeal his guts out as how these fine Marines somehow breached their ROE and ignored the common courtesy of assuming one is innocent until proven guilty.
But he has no sway over what is happening within the court system. I point the finger to the JAG and the NCIS. They are the culprits in this sad state of affairs.
These Marines and their loved ones need the honorable general Mattis to keep a close watch on what the hell is going on here.
The Iraqi will long forget what these Marines where alleged to do, and probably most of them from that city don't believe the Marines really acted outside their ROE.
The little girl will someday come out and admit she was told what to say.
The question is: What is general Mattis going to do about this terrible stain gaining permenant level on his Marine Corps..

Excellent point, Marine Uncle. Does anybody remember the other incident where 11 people were supposedly executed before we dropped a bomb on the house? No? Ishaqi. That's because it was shut down. There were no executions. It was an unfortunate casualty of war. And it was a total of 4 people. NCIS still wanted to exhume the bodies after the Marines were cleared, but didn't. Someone in that command in Iraq had enough clout, after they reviewed it of course, to shut it down.

Having said that, Lt. General Mattis could still use a little help from a few politicians, pundits, and friendly media types.
