I heard Hannity's broadcast of more of Ms Coulter's speech; i.e., "the rest of the story."

It really was not about gays -- the word, however, was chosen as a segway into a reminder of the serious matter of Americans being sent off to re-hab; i.e., virtually the Stanlinist practice of reeducation for offending the state [my words].

The evil word was used in the sense of an effeminate man: Mr. Edwards. The word was knowingly chosen and used for effect, of course; but as noted it was a segway into a very serious matter at the end of a mostly light-hearted speech attacking Democrats.

Now of course good conservatives will merely suggest that the left has it wrong to make Ms Coulter the "issue".

It matters not to good conservatives that the real issue of being forced (pressured?) into re-hab is an assault on our indispensable rights as an indivudual.
