"2008 Presidential Election--Duncan Hunter Flying Under the Radar"

I like Duncan Hunter. But because he'd be a formidable Republican candidate I don't expect the media to give him even a token glance. If the Republican Party were smart they'd push for this guy though. He's bright, extremely articulate, amiable, experienced in Congress, patriotic, wants to stop illegal immigration, is strong on the WOT, and a man of deep morals and values. He'd trounce Hillary or any other liberal candidate.

..I guess we shall see if the MSM controls everything as before, or there truly is a new media which a candidate can use to run a new kind of campaign

That appears to be the problem. The GOP has become a different form of democrat who only want to dictate what they decide is good, and not necessarily what's good for us.

In my district's last congressional election the GOP backed their open borders outsource everything RINO against a conservative republican. When the conservative won I expected the GOP to back him against the democrat but those cowards didn't even do that. Fortunately the conservative won both the primary and the general election without the help of the GOP.

Next time someone tells you that the club for growth and the pro border security crowd cost the last election, just point to Tim Walberg who was endorsed by the club for growth and the Minuteman PAC.

You said it well. He is what the GOP has been needing for some time. A candidate that is well spoken, strong and steady that exudes leadership, is not intimidated by Demonrat and media propaganda and responds, has military experience, traditional conservative values. He is the perfect man for the presidency now. His real problem is the GOP primary because he would make the best possible candidate against whoever the Demonrats put up.
