1.) "I have a face like a nail file."
2.) "I have the intellectual capacity of a Big Mac."
3.) "I am almost certainly slated for some serious, serious Hell time for having intentionally treated the corpse of my dead child as my own personal Moped towards low-grade celebrity."
MAKE ME KNOWN, COUNTRY ROAD
Tune: "Take Me Home, Country Roads"
Almost hades, Crawford Texas
Bush Ranch protest, Sheehan doin' talk shows
Press is out there, underneath the tree
Lookin' for some talkers, might as well be me
Country road, make me known
To the place I belong
Guest opinion, TV pundit
Make me known, country road
All my DUmmies rally round me
Mindless, lazy, looking for a leader
Read my bloggings, written on the fly
Boring waste of bandwidth, glazing of the eye
Country road, make me known
To the place I belong
Guest opinion, TV pundit
Make me known, country road
I wear a hat, in the mirror I see Eastwood
The ladies on DU think I'm hot when I pose
But sweatin' in the sun I get the feelin'
That I should have worn some lighter clothes, lighter clothes
Country road, make me known
To the place I belong
Guest opinion, TV pundit
Make me known, country road
Make me known, country road
Make me known, country road . . .
That's where you "planted" your uterus, isn't it?
No thanks.
He didn't lose his Angry?
Water finds its level.
This woman is addicted to attention...this is just one more cry for it.
It’s just a WHAAAAAAA! to remind us that she’s here.
Ever heard of thee American Civil WAR? BICH!@! Maybe there is hope
beyond you're pathetic rantings because our country isn't about one person.
Especially you..
MaxMax.
Hilarious! Well done Charles.
What disturbs me the most is that she claims that her son died for nothing. What would her son think? He died trying to build a better Iraq and fighting Iraqi and Al Quida terrorists who hate America and freedom. He died trying to make Iraq a better place so that America could be a safer place. I think Casey died for something, and it is a shame his mother doesn't think so.
"This is my resignation letter as the "face" of the American anti-war movement. This is not my "Checkers" moment, because I will never give up trying to help people in the world who are harmed by the empire of the good old US of A, but I am finished working in, or outside of this system. This system forcefully resists being helped and eats up the people who try to help it. I am getting out before it totally consumes me or anymore people that I love and the rest of my resources."
Her hatred toward America here paints a picture of many of the extreme leftists. America is painted as a power hungry terroristic nation that doesn't care about its own soldiers and is terrorizing those poor Iraqi people.
Lastly, it doesn't surprise me that the left dumped her. She was nothing but a tool to garner emotion and further their agenda. She turned a bit on them, and they dropped her hard. The left is full of mean, nasty, power hungry people who will trample all that get in its way. Don't allow these people to call themselves tolerant. It's butchering of a once perfectly decent word.
[Um, Cindy. You are deemed a radical because you have been buddying up to the likes of Hugo Chavez and Fidel Castro.]My original take on Sheehan was that her son getting killed in a war she hated (that he, apparently, supported) caused her to become somewhat unbalanced, and that whatever Casey thought about her activities he would have hated some of the things said about his mom. So I cut her some slack. I figured she was getting used by the hard core nutbars.
This lasted until she started buddying up with those two.

She's got a point there ;-)
You want to know where Pitt is? Where else, limelight hogging as usual:
