My advise is:
Call the local/state office of your Senators, also the Senators of any state you have ever lived in (where you went to college)
Ask for a lower level staff person BY THEIR NAME - a field rep, constituent services person. These people are young, their job is to be polite and listen to Constituents’ concerns.
introduce yourself as a constituent from some town, neighborhood and then discuss your opposition to the illegal alien amnesty. Be polite and try to engage in a back and forth dialog, don’t just rant and rave, threaten them that “THEY MOST DO THIS”.
Follow up with a polite e-mail or fax to THE SPECIFIC STAFF MEMBER you talked with, c.c. other staff members at the local, national, maybe include a link, attachment to some intelligent articles supporting immigration control, opposing the illegal alien amnesty.
Network with other activists.
