I just watched the video and I think the meaning is obvious.

He stares into the camera for a minute, throws a rock into the stream and walks away.

After a minute, he is gone and the ripples from the rock have subsided.

Ergo, he means "I may get your attention for now, but after a while, I will be out of sight and no one will remember the little impact I tried to make."

He doesn't realize how right he is . . . . . . . .

When he’s almost out of sight, does he throw another rock into the pond? Not that I particularly care and I certainly don’t care enough to watch it again.
