Please note that I have today refrained from my usual pitch about volunteering as judges for the Weblog Awards. I was really tempted to do the pitch again but am proud of myself for not yielding to temptation. It would have been way to easy for me to post about how being a judge for the Weblog Awards allows you to nominate blogs. Of course, I would never suggest what blogs to nominate, especially not in the Humor category. Yes, all that would have been too easy but, thankfully, I did not bother you with that reminder today.

Let's make sure the little ones are good and scared!This from the same people that have NO PROBLEM with scaring kids with Global Warming. Or with looking for a child molester under every bed. Or with death by the latest Bird Flu/EColi/transfatty acid/flavor of the week that's going to kill you. Or with broadcasting murder and mayhem 24/7 on TV. Or with....
While I *do* agree that the ad is a little heavy handed, ascribing it as an Evil Plot by the Bush Regime to terrify our kids is pretty foolish.
