And there is the issue of not throwing a skirt at Hitlery (not that she'd know what it was). Lets stand big, tall, men with deep voices that command attention against that screeching harpy. One harpy is one too many. Terrible. Can't stand it. That's not to say Sarah Palin is a harpy or anything negative for that matter. I don't know anything about her. I just want our top officials to exude strength just by looking at them. Not arrogance. Strength. When they walk in a room they get the E. F. Houghton treatment. Let that first impression be a super one. Can you even imagine the asides at a table full of big wigs sitting across from Hitlery and choaking when she opens her mouth. "Not good Norman, not good."
All IMHO of course.
Frwy,
You are not alone in your thinking about “Women in high offices” -— personally speaking it is not an “issue” for me — but is one that must be considered — having said that —— IF America is ready for a female VP -— I think we found the best of the best in Sarah Palin (pronounced PAUL-IN) I think we will be hearing this name more often as we approach 2008
Ah common! You mean you wouldn’t trust a woman that is PMSing with the football?
Chickens!
Hillary doesn’t represent what a woman running for high national office has to be like. Neither did Geraldine Ferraro. Elizabeth Dole was more like it, although she had some flaws but was nothing like either of those two. I’m looking at individuals. Man or woman. Men have great advantages, in general. But a specific woman just might trumph them depending on the individuals involved in a race.
