What does this mean: "And does either of this couple have the balls to bottom?

I almost hate to admit that I am familiar with the term. However, living in the SF Bay area, one hears such things whether one wants to or not. I once heard some co-workers use this term. I asked them what it meant, and one of them gave me a succinct definition.

To put it as delicately as possible (and assuming I understood his explanation correctly), it describes two people "having relations": a "top" is the "giver", and a bottom is the "receiver", if you understand what I am saying. To use a baseball metaphor that I have heard employed in the past: a "top" would be the "pitcher", and a "bottom" the "catcher".

Thanks for your explanation. What tripped me up was the terrible wording. Of course, anything on this subject sends my dog running to hide under my bed. In fact, anything that has to do with the Clintoons is a probe into the bazarre.
