All one has to do is ask an older leftist whatever happened to the Reagan Disaster. For those who dont know what that is, the left was certain that President Reagan was going to or destroyed the world. Ah yes, I remember well. I was a Liberal at the time, and I swallowed that kool-aide as well. Part of the reason for my eventual conversion, was that the dire Reagan predictions never came true.

Have the '08 elections happened yet? I must have missed them... ...The "most" dire warnings have been about military drafts and cancellation of the '08 election...not the '06 one... This behavior reminds me of the Millerites, who when their predictions of the exact date of the end of the world came and went, went back to their analyses and proclaimed that they'd done the math wrong and the end would REALLY come...a few years later.

Too bad you didn’t hold your vote lead, but then, there are simply more of them (DUers) than us (Freepers). You’ll always be OUR funniest blog^

...we have had a powerful movement of resistance in this country ever since he took office, working time and again to bring this administration down. Thanks to them, much of the more dire predictions of the left never came true, and for that, we can all be proud. And thankful. Ah yes, the Chanticleer syndrome.

The current occupier of the White House is a madman. He is getting crazier and crazier with each passing day. If you saw him on TV today, then you saw how crazy he looks. But he is crafty. He knows how to line up pure power behind him -- people who will do anything -- anything -- he wants. He is quite capable of -- and quite likely to -- declaring martial law. I can imagine this soliloquy being given by Ren Höeck, and the tone sounds about right...

That's a good analogy. And now the DUmmies are only $10 away from knowing the real exact date of the end of the world.

I could be wrong, but I believe FReepers do outnumber DUmmies. Part of the voting issue, in my opinion, is that DUFU's are stuck back here in the blog section of FR where not a lot of FReepers read. It probably would've helped if posts about the weblog awards and voting could've been made on the main board, and put in the sidebar. By way of contrast, DU allowed two threads about this poll to remain in their Greatest Threads section.
Or it could just be that they are more rabid than we. Come to think of it, that Perry Logan Thing does look like it has rabies.

How do you know... that the fear of these outcomes didn't energize us to prevent these outcomes? Another good one PJ! The kind of comments like this one are one of my favorites because it shows just how delusional and self-aggrandizing they are. IF Chimpy McBushHitler had as much power as they seem to think, their little "uprising" wouldn't have happened. Energized or not, those Walmarts would be open under new management and they'd all be "guests" at the Darth Cheney Memorial Internment Centers now. How pathetic must someone's real life be if they have to invent conspiracy theories to give their lives meaning? Dream on little Rambo wannabes.

How do you know... that the fear of these outcomes didn't energize us to prevent these outcomes? I have in my possession a rock that prevents tiger attacks. I can certify that in all the time I have possessed said rock I have never suffered from a tiger attack. Would you care to buy this rock?

Resurrected an old laptop and brought a new machine on line early, so now have four (4) voting booths. I believe that it may be possible to vote multiple times with a single machine. If open source users have some
live distros , try to vote using them. It may be necessary to use a distro that either has flash built in or will accept an install. PCLinuxOS2007 and MandrivaOne are two distros I have used.
It may have to do with being behind a router and not having a routable IP (192.168.x.x), and the live distro having a different hostname than my installed distro. Mel

[Do they have Walmarts in Pakistan?] LOL! :-) I'm still voting for you daily, PJ, even though the DUmmies are 'RonPauling' you by clearing their cookies and voting hundreds of times a day instead of HONORABLY (the FReeper way) voting only once a day like the rules say...hang in there, keep sharing the truth of the moonbats, and don't give up the fight! :-)

I think this administration is capable of anything, including putting Americans in camps and launching nuclear first strikes. But we have had a powerful movement of resistance in this country ever since he took office, working time and again to bring this administration down. Thanks to them, much of the more dire predictions of the left never came true, and for that, we can all be proud. And thankful. This guy is all that stands between Bush and total anarchy.

I know how the cheating is occurring... This is a flash poll. All you need to do is clear all the locally stored data by using the privacy settings in Adobe flash player, then perform a super refresh, allow the site to store some data, click the appropriate radio button in the poll, lather, rinse, repeat.
This can be automated with a macro recording program pretty darned easily.
Want more info, freepmail me and I’ll put together a tutorial with images to show you what I’m discussing.
Of course I would expect that it would be used for purposes of proving the issue (proof of concept) only!

After trying this to determine if it works, I’m not sure... there is probably a little bit more to it, but I can override the 24 hour waiting period to vote, I just cant tell what sequence things need to be done in yet to ensure that a vote gets tallied.
I’ll toy with it more later...
