Huck is to the left of George W. Bush. Do conservatives really want an even more compassionate George W. Bush Lite who is weaker on fiscal issues and a nanny stater?

This is not conservatism. Mike Huckabee is a pro-life, pro-family values liberal. He is soft on illegal immigration and he is enthusiastic about passing laws that control the way people live their lives (e.g, laws against smoking, junk food, etc.). The writer understands the Huckster. He says what we Arkansas FReepers have been warning FReepers about since he announced his candidacy.
