Can Someone Tell Me....

I know Bush has visited Iraq at least twice. When was it that he surprised the troops at a dinner and walked on stage. Whom ever introduced him asked for a senior member of the administration to deliver the message and President Bush walked on stage. I thought it was a great moment and have been looking for it on You Tube.

YouTube wasn’t around in 2003 so I’m not sure if that’s the best place to look for it. However, I can’t seem to find a video of this anywhere either.

Yep....Post #2 had it right. Thanksgiving 2003 at the now-defunct Camp Bob Hope near Baghdad Airport. (This area was given back to the Iraqis sometime in late '04 or early '05...can't remember.)

I ate in that chow hall a few times in early '04 and there were pictures of the event on the walls there.

I found the clip, but unfortunately, it's from Jon Stewart's The Daily Show, so there will be the expected ridicule and dumbass comments before and after the clip.
