I heard this Sinclair guy on a radio interview. What he says is disgusting, but he sure sounded sincere and credible saying it.

True, and I've seen another comment elsewhere saying that it's to good to see that Roger Clinton is working again. Also comments on the ugliness of Sinclair and that Obama could surely do better.;) Who knows what to believe, Sinclair is not all that credible, but you're right that this will most likely backfire all over the Hillbillies due to their long well known proclivity for back-stabbing and mud throwing.

When you are a public figure, in addition to other elements of defamation, you would have to show that the defamer had a malicious intent to harm your reputation. Hard to prove. Google “NY Times v Sullivan”

Yes, this is a tough one for me. Why would this guy come forward and make these allegations? Its not as if he has a moral bone in his body?
When a person comes forward to hammer someone, there either bitter, getting paid, want the attention, or they believe they are somehow helping a specific cause. Or maybe as someone else pointed out, he is mentally disturbed. If we can figure out his true motive then it becomes easier to determine whether or not he is telling the truth.

2/24/2008 2:15 PM Dr. Ed Gelb, Former President of the American Polygraph Association was the Polygraph expert....the first polygraph asked Mr. Sinclair on his sex claims. The second polygraph test asked Mr. Sinclair on the drug use claims. There was deception indicated in both tests.
