I heard over the weekend that the gits that chained themselves to the doors of the recruiting station, were chained there for 7 HOURS.

So what took law enforcement so long to remove them? Where they ordered not to intervene and remove the protesters from a federal building????

Forget the cops. Call the Fire department. Tell them that someone has chained shut the front door of a public building. That’s a rather striking violation of the fire code and is the kind of thing that has gotten people killed when a fire has occured and the exit doors were found obstructed. Fire Chiefs take an exceedingly dim view of this, and you’ll find a set of boltcutters on every fire truck.

7½ hours!
Hope they did not drink too much coffee that morning!

Nah, don’t cut them lost.

Squirt Crazy Glue and toothpicks into the keyways and on the locks and let them stay there for a few days, weeks, etc.

Protesters have perfected their tactics, on both the right and left. Pro-life protesters use the same techniques.

Get a one-foot length of metal pipe, either cast iron or galvanized, big enough to slip your hand into it, and then you and your fellow protester join hands and cuff yourselves together inside the pipe. Police and firefighters can’t cut the pipe with a power saw or a torch without injuring someone. So it’s slow work.

We also don’t know that it’s a federal building — around here, recruiting stations are often in leased space in strip malls. I have no specific knowledge, but I assume it’s similar nationwide.
