I do not think that Obama’s rhetoric is empty. I am of the opinion that he is skillfully using soaring rhetoric to make desire fact; desire becomes policy position.

I don’t hear people saying, “I agree with his policies and positions,” I hear, “I believe in Obama.”

Rather than write it off as empty, I would like to see someone do a thesis-level analysis of Obama’s rhetoric.

From an historical perspective, Obama’s rhetoric frightens me. I see it as an abusive exploitation of the human religious sentiment in the service of progressivism's political religion.

My guess is that Obama learned from Islam the importance of the making the religious the political — you don’t have to prove anything — it is thus because Obama says it is so — and you can command absolute authority and be God-like.
