Could you, right now. Not 5 minutes from now. Not if you take care of a small something, but RIGHT NOW.

Could you pull out your harddrive, put a brand new one in, reinstall the operating system from recovery CD/DVDs, then get back to where you need to be?

If you could not do that right now, you need better backups.
