You make a good point. I finally got around to talking about this a little bit with a friend of my son’s..who has done it on his own too. I asked him what the difference was- his answer was pretty telling. He tapped his head with his forefinger and said “I left the hood”.
Amazing.
That is exactly what young black men and women need to do, both mentally and physically.
