Of course I do.....However you have 5 teens when I did all within a few years of each other & you would have wanted to run away or let somebody take them when the 4 boys were fighting. Their older sister was way worse. She would hit them with a broom. Ut oh good thing she is 28 yrs old now or CPS/DYFS might be here...lmao! Amazing when I met my husband he didn’t mind them one bit & even married me.

I agree: ripping these children from their parents is about as traumatizing an event as could ever happen to them, perhaps equal to whatever sexual abuse some have experienced. And what of the children to whom no sexual abuse was perpetrated? They are now scarred for life just as deeply. I am speaking from first-hand experience, here, not just spouting an opinion.

That youth home where I was a resident counselor in 1972, will soon pass its 60th anniversary and is still lauded as one of the best in the nation at rescuing children from broken homes or the streets. Having said that, the boys felt, at least back then, as if they were in prison with no one that actually cared about them. Some felt that the only reason they were there was so that the home could collect support money from the state. It was clear that several boys were training for incarceration at the state home and eventually state prison, or heading for a violent death in any number of ways.

Again the Flds has nothing to do with the LDS Church.

NOTHING?

It sprang from the SAME root;

it trusts in the SAME prophets;

it reads the SAME BoM;

It actually FOLLOWS the SAME D&C #132 that is in the LDS Organizations scripture...

This isn’t the first thread I have answered this for you.

Then it is written in invisible ink.

In YOUR own words: what is UNTRUE about PRESBYTERIANISM?

 8 sentences: which one points to the UNTRUTH???

http://scriptures.lds.org/en/js_h/1/18#18

  18
My object in going to inquire of the Lord was to know which of all the sects was right, that I might know which to join.
No sooner, therefore, did I get possession of myself, so as to be able to speak, than I asked the Personages who stood above me in the light, which of all the sects was right (for at this time it had never entered into my heart that all were wrong)—and which I should join.

  19
I was answered that I must join none of them, for they were all wrong; and the Personage who addressed me said that all their creeds were an abomination in his sight; that those professors were all corrupt; that: “they draw near to me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me, they teach for doctrines the commandments of men, having a form of godliness, but they deny the power thereof.”

  20
He again forbade me to join with any of them; and many other things did he say unto me, which I cannot write at this time.
When I came to myself again, I found myself lying on my back, looking up into heaven.
When the light had departed, I had no strength; but soon recovering in some degree, I went home.
And as I leaned up to the fireplace, mother inquired what the matter was.
I replied, “Never mind, all is well—I am well enough off.”

I then said to my mother,
“I have learned for myself that Presbyterianism is not true.”

This isn’t the first thread I have CLAIMED TO HAVE answered this for you.

You babble on about something being in the verses, but have NEVER shown what you claim.

Here is your chance: the whole foundation of MORMONISM is riding on it.

Yep, a few stayed behind, but not as a group, and not as a voting block, but as a few here and a few there.

And that 'few', as you call them, have all the property that the other fearful folks left behind.

“No answer I see to the 24 hr manned guard tower huh? Or to the parents who are fleeing the ranch so they don’t have to give DNA samples? Or to the abuse of babies & children having children. Nor to to the fact families are ripped away from their fathers & given to new men? Why not answer my questions? No answers? Why not?”

“Take my child & I would comply with whatever they asked of me not abandon my child & flee. Seems strange to me that any loving normal parent would do so!”

By the way. I work. I don’t have time to sit on my rear and answer stupid questions all day long, but in your case I will do so if you can stand the answers.

I did not see any of the Mother’s flee or abandon their children. The CPS separated the Mother’s and Children in the standard Auschwitz fashion — if you have not been following, the Mother’s went with the children on the Reich’s Buses.

24 hour guard tower. First I have seen pictures of the Ranch but have yet to pick out the tower. When I went to College (on a 50 acre campus), the College had at least 3 hired security guards roaming the campus at any given time. Do you expect these people not to have security? The fact that they cooperated and let the authorities on the Ranch without resistance doesn’t say anything to you.

Did you see any of these parents that are fleeing the Ranch? I saw some Father who drove 1200 Miles to come back but the only place I have heard of fleeing parents is on this site.

I notice you have no problem cooperating with the CPS but you wouldn’t let them into your house and you would call your daughter’s GrandFather (big time Lawyer). Why bother with that if you are so confident that they will treat you well?

Abuse of Babies. I did not see that in any testimony. I have seen it on this site but not in any testimony. When you get a good source for that portion let me know.

Children having Children. I do not agree with underage marriages and if some of that happens I do not condone that. However, the age for marriage in Texas is 16 with Parents consent — only a couple years ago it used to be the ridiculous level of 14. Well see what proof comes out about this part. So far, court testimony shows that 5 kids under the age of 18 have babies or are pregnant. Does that justify grabbing every kid in the joint? If so, then the CPS better grab every kid in the inner city of Dallas — the teen pregnancy rate is probably 25%.

Families are not ripped away from their Father’s. If the Father leaves the Church and the wife(s) does not go with him then she gets an arranged marriage with another guy. Is that really any different then our wife swapping that we call divorce and remarriage. Don’t our courts rip families (kids) away from the Fathers?

There I think I have answered everything. You probably won’t like the answers since you seem to already have all the answers. I on the other hand tend to have more questions then answers.

I said the massive attack was an attack on religious freedom. Meaning taking every kid in the joint. If the the teenage girls were “at risk” then just take them until you square everything away. They never would have done this in a pot smoking hippy convent where they were having orgies every night. The Manson family did not even get this treatment.

The stuff owned by the Church.

Then there were the hundreds, maybe thousands of Saints that lost there homes that the mob members took over.

The individual loses was far greater then the small amount kept by those who stayed.

Ok, let us review:
when you say someone is not telling the truth - you are calling them a liar.
When you say someone is not telling the whole truth, I guess you could argue you are calling them half a liar.
No, that just does not work: not telling the whole truth, half a truth, only a smidgen of the truth accusation is calling someone a liar.

++++++++++++++++

True, there are different ways of telling a lie.

I am anti-unBiblical truths.

Your posts look like and sound like the hard core anti-Mormon posters.

How you do it is as important as what you do.

Maybe you can answer the question that took me out of a Bible only church back in the 70’s.

Why are there so many ways to be saved, given there is only one Bible?

I on the other hand tend to have more questions then answers.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

So do we all have questions. But all of us aren't as nasty as you are either. I work too but am lucky to do it at home. I also have walking pneumonia so I can sit here if I feel like it. Right on my rear too!

When this first came out I said I would open my door to DYFS without a problem until many FReepers told me it was a bad idea. There is no reason for DYFS to knock at my door so yes now I would call my lawyer. ( and yes he is a very well known lawyer in NJ too FYI) I have nothing to fear from them as I do not abuse my child, nor do I drink or do drugs. And my house is spotless.

Parents have been leaving the area & not all will take DNA tests. Does that tell you anything? Watch the news & stop asking foolish questions. Google the Jessops or any of the women & MEN or LOST BOYS who have plenty to say about the FLDS & the way people & children are treated. Read about Warren Jeffs & his trials. I suppose you think it was fine what he did too though... I am not going to do your work for you, get off your rear.

I do not compare my country to nazi's. TX LE & CPS went in on a call & saw things that were not normal to them so they acted. If they left the children there & they were abused would that have been better? I guess since you called my questions stupid you would think so.

The father that came back would only answer some questions & while I give him credit for coming back , I wonder why he left his children there. Oh I know he left them at YFZ because he was off to get a new wife or because he was told to leave maybe??? We just don't know do we & he won't say.

I see no reason for a guard tower out in the middle of nowhere unless you are afraid of a raid. Or were up to no good. Churches where I live do not have towers but steeples with bells & are not manned 24/7. So yes that is odd to me.

Men being tossed from their faith from a so called Prophet & losing their homes & families to another man is nothing like divorce or remarriage. You are vile to compare divorce to what these men & women have gone through because of a religion where the Prophet is GOD. Its not like these families wanted to break up, Jeffs did as he pleased & they obeyed. Whole families in his other compounds would be tossed from their CULT owned homes on Jeff's whims. There are lawsuits on that too. Check it out for yourself. Nor do I know of any fathers who don't see their children unless they are deadbeat dads or don't care to see their children. In fact I know a few fathers with full custody of their children. But then again I know no CULT members thankfully. .

Mothers could have stayed at a safe house & been near their children but without cell phones to carry out their husband's orders they left & went back to the ranch. In case you don't know yet polygamy is ILLEGAL. I don't really like these people hating this country yet feeling they have the right to Bleed the BEAST, meaning getting food stamps & welfare. Nor do I like the fact that this CULT has so much inbreeding going on that some children are being born with serious birth defects. I also wonder why men would want so many wives & children if they can't spend quality time with each wife or child. Nor be able to support them without ripping off the taxpayers. That isn't normal to me either. Is it to YOU?

Nor am I fine & dandy with any religion where its normal for men to take child brides. Or whatever you may want to call them. I am not fine with scaring people into thinking they have to obey a so called Prophet or they will be damed to h-ll. Not with the FLDS or any other CULT.

I am not happy about teenage pregnancy at all. Nor do I think it normal to toss young men out of a religious CULT so the old men perverts can get the young girls. Or tell young men to go work for little or no wages in the hope that they will someday be able to get a wife. Maybe you are fine with it & believe it to be normal but most people aren't.

You & I will never see eye to eye on anything except we both have questions. You are nasty & for all I know a FLDS member looking to start a fight with me. I don't much like nasty people or people who come here looking to start fights. I hope to God that all of this is a big mistake but sadly I think there are too many former members who know more then you or I on what is really going on. And I do hope Warren Jeffs in his cell waiting for another trial is found guilty again. Have a nice night....So sorry you have to work & had to take time to answer my stupid questions. Keep it Sweet!

I found a whole bunch of YFZ pictures. You can find the guard house in them if you care to look. I don’t know of ranches with guard houses but then I am from NJ not TX. Anybody from TX or that has a ranch is a guard house a normal thing?

Sorry; but your impassioned statement is a bit hyperbolic.

If I ABANDON my home & property where I live; I can guarantee you that it WILL be 'taken over' by someone.

When your 'leader' yells "Wagons West!"; whatcha gonna do?
