It makes no sense, has no point and takes the reader nowhere. In other words, it's a typical Pitt screed.
At least it's shorter than the (in)famous "DUmmie Canossa" non-apology for the Fitzmas Fiasco.

electoral irrelevance
Sounds like precisely what the superdelagates are about.

[Ah man, am I ever late. had to take the dog out.]
Anyway, this is odd - just yesterday I was wondering what Wilie was up to. :-)
Glad he sobered up ...

Screw the hand-wringers and the always-wrong punditry who want it to be damaging so they can be buzzards as usual. At least the "always-wrong punditry" was talking about the race, as opposed to the always-drunk punditry that opted to sit it out until everyone but Hillary knew it was over.

When was the last time you can remember so many people, (blah, blah, blah) whose absence from the polls tends to directly affect their lives, almost always to their deficit, with much more immediacy than in other blocs of voters.
Minor point.... the over and incorrect use of 'affect', instead of the proper and under used, 'effect'. Willie should know better as a (cough) 'professional writer'.
Especially since Willie's screed is about voting, which does directly have an Effect on their lives.
Effect:
1) Something brought about by a cause or agent; a result
2) The power to produce an outcome or achieve a result; influence: The drug had an immediate effect on the pain. The government's action had no effect on the trade imbalance. Now if the act of Voting doesn't fit the above, nothing does.
Again, minor point. I just don't think I've seen 'effect' in a news article is eons. It's always 'affect'.

If this swings right in November... Nothing's swinging right in November. It's going to swing left or FAR left.

Another minor point: it’s an incomplete sentence. The subject “people” has no verb.

This long primary race is a blessing. Translation: Let's hope it's still dominating the news come Monday, so nobody notices the Fitzmas anniversary.
To: Steve0113; Cletus.D.Yokel
Another minor point: its an incomplete sentence. The subject people has no verb.I believe that was the point that threw Cletus off. He was first to catch the incongruity.

A true gift to the country. Translation: I'm maintaining my neutrality and putting a positive spin on things, so I can hook onto someone's campaign staff.
To: PJ-Comix
However, that entry is now mysteriously GONE! Did Pitt have to take it down because it was factually challenged or some other reason? He remembered that he didn't go; it was Temporary SockPuppet.

To: PJ-Comix
Thank you, Hillary. Translation: My chances of catching onto a campaign staff are even fainter than Hillary's odds of winning the nomination, but just in case. . . .

Seriously. This could be series.

Screw the hand-wringers. . . . Is that you, benburch?
To: PJ-Comix
and the always-wrong punditry. . . . What about ME?!? Why can't I be a pundit?! I, William Rivers Pitt--I am smarter than ALL OF THEM!!!
To: PJ-Comix
so they can be buzzards as usual. So Pitt can be buzzed as usual.
