Memorial Day pays tribute to the veterans of America’s wars. Including the Civil War which saw the end of slavery.
But some don’t want to be grateful for the actions of another man. They’d rather manifest hatred and contempt and cling to it.
I’m in Bush Alaska- we don’t have Columbus Day- we have Chief’s day instead- usually the 2nd Friday in Dec.
A day off is a day off!
