It actually disappeared quite quickly yesterday. I’d been following it too. I can’t remember the time I noticed it was gone, but I’m certain it was pulled yesterday.

Exactly. The rumors are being inflated to absurdity, so that by contrast, the reality (which is bad enough) will look innocuous. I can't believe that people are falling for this, and perpetuating it. The truth---that both of the Obamas are white-hating racists---is enough, we don't need to vaccinate it by shilling for rumors.

If anyone had this tape, it would have become public by now. Even the MSM couldn't pass this up, no matter how much they're in the tank for Obama.

NRO, the Corner, says that the tape, if it exists, is of a conference for the Rainbow Push coalition where, Michelle Obama was a guest of the women of the conference, along with Farrakhan’s wife.

The HillBuzz description of the tape still raises a few questions, though. They say, “The Michelle Obama Rant Tape was filmed between June 26th - July 1st 2004 in Chicago, IL at the Rainbow/PUSH Coalition Conference at Trinity United Church”, but the Rainbow/PUSH event in 2004 was held at the Sheraton, not Trinity United; did the church cosponsor it or something?

Not necessarily, if she were thinking of making an independent run she would save any ammo she's got left for a "kill shot" to sink the demo candidate. If I try I might be able to come up with other reasons but getting into a "hillary mindset" makes me feel dirty, I think I'll go take a shower now.

Yup. Here it is after 3 p.m. Eastern Time and no video. It was supposed to be released today, wasn't it? And is there only one copy? Why? This whole thing is starting to smell.

well, I checked the wayback machine and so far, no indication of that tape on trinity's web site

I took a look at the archive, and it appears that any videos would be sold through something called the “Akiba Bookstore”. If you go far enough back, the bookstore is indeed archived, but around November 2006, that page of the site totally disappears. All of the later updates in the archive show nothing there and only give a file error.

Could it be that someone with access to the archive managed to sanitize it to protect Baraq Hussein?

The tape supposedly was from June 2004.

The archive showed videos for sale through August or so and there was nothing other than sermons.

I wonder if there was some place else on the site that sold special stuff.

I read later that the event was actually a Jesse Jackson Push/Rainbow Coalition sponsored event, so I think we may be looking in the wrong place looking at Trinity.
