Talk channels? Do you mean XM or Sirius satellite radio? I don't have any "talk channels" on my cable TV (Cox)...
i was extremely favorably impressed with Tammy Bruce
**** Careful. You are endangering yourself to be out in a position to receive a voluminous amount of vile and vitriolic versions of hate posts because she is.... a lesbian.****
Excuse me for butting in but - nonsense, no incoming flames. ('Hate the sin, not the sinner')
Tammy may be a lesbian but she's a conservative. Not some moonbat femi-nazi pushing gay marriage and such. That's why she was 'kicked out' as head of the LA NOW chapter - too conservative. If all gays were like her we wouldn't have any problems. Go to her website wwww.tammybruce.com and read all about her. And of all of Laura's subs I like Tammy the best. I wish I could listen to her more.
Okay, that's it - Carry On.
BTW, I find her very attractive, very. And ...alluring. If I wasn't married .. well .. lets forget that part :-)
I think Laura has taken on an awful lot lately. I would hate to have her give up her radio show.
Don’t the few who are critical of Bruce (not me) take issue with her pro-choice stance?
Tammie Bruce’s political journey has been an interesting one and her sexuality has played a part in it. She should serve as a wake-up call for anyone who considers themselves a feminist. She’s a woman who was once in a rather prominent position with the National Organization of Women who now identifies herself as a conservative. Conservativism is where personal freedoms and individual rights are actually valued.
My point is that there are people who have to do mental yoga to come to term with their religious princples, their conservative principles, their religious principles and their personal principles.
I find it somewhat entertaining to watch.
Where are the courageous single men of age willing to tame the shrews?
I like Tammy Bruce.
Try http://streamingradioguide.com for picking up her (and others) show on your computer. I use it often- it lets you find the about any show at any time.
I haven't listened to her in a while...but the few times I have switched over, I've noticed she wasn't in.
I remember from a few years ago, when she had mentioned that she was engaged. I knew of her age, and the wedding was due to happen fairly quickly, and I figured "she wants kids, at least one".
Then the cancer happened (and, apparently, the cancer that dumped her), and I figured she didn't want to risk getting married and trying for a baby...so hearing this news that she has adopted, makes me very happy for her. Blessings on her house and family.
Wow, great guide! Thanks, I’ll check it out...
OK; come to think of it, if you were close to Hartford
there’s a station at AM 840 that would make it tough for
you to pick it up anyway (WRYM, Spanish).
I got XM a few months back—for talk, music variety (classic
country, etc.) and baseball (EVERY game). It was $30 at
Best Buy and it took $15 to activate and it’s $12.95 a month
(43 cents a day..) I also bought something called XM Sure
Connect which helps it transmit the signal to my antenna.
America’s Talk (XM 158): Glenn Beck
America Right (XM 166): Ingraham, Hannity, Levin, Michael
Reagan, Rusty Humphries
Fox News Talk (XM 168): O’Reilly, Brian and the Judge,
John Gibson
They also carry the audio of Fox News Channel!
Tammy may be a lot more to the right then she used to be, but she still claims to be Pro-Choice.
FWIW I kicked Medved off my listen list and replaced him with Tammy, she’s very Conservative and I don’t judge her on her personal life.
She doesn’t take a lot of calls which I think is a good thing. I just don’t find much value in callers that have an axe to grind.
Laura spends too much time talking about her personal life but hey, most talkers think their life is what people want to hear. So I quit her and even turn away from TGO lately, he covers a topic or two then jumps to calls. Seems like many want him to put down callers. Oh well, I get what I pay for.
Maybe she has the Michelle Obama tape....
"Shes probaly exausted!"
I heard Maria was 3 years old. A 3 year old will run you ragged.
3,4,5,6, probably until they go to college.
After you asked I went and checked my guide and they are no longer there...so...sorry...never mind.
The one show of hers that I will never forget was on the Saturday afternoon that President Reagan died. To your note, she said that she had despised him when she was the NOW chapter president, but had really grown to admire him over the years. This was about 3 hours after news of the President's death, and her show is based in SoCal.
She started to read Reagan's farewell letter, the one he wrote upon learning that he had Alzheimer's death...she couldn't make it through the letter...she stopped, tried to compose herself, and then lost it again, having to take a station break. It's a good thing that I was parked...I didn't think I had any tears left.
If I ever can get through to her show, I will tell her how much I appreciated her show that day, and how I wish she would repeat that show (or make it available for podcast).
Really more of a libertarian, of the pro-choice variety.
