On reflection, you’re right. The Constitution sets the eligibility requirements for the office of president, not the Congress.

It's quite likely, that a document such as a mortgage deed would list a SSN for BO. Since we already know his birthdate, that would enable anyone to search the online Selective Service database (to verify if BO did or did not, register with the government -- as he was required to by federal law).

I would ask that any freeper who is near Chicago and has an hour of weekday time, could search these documents and obtain the needed SSN, to complete this research.

I did create a new thread (asking a Chicago area Freeper, for one hour research -- to pull a SSN off one of the older public "mortgage" type documents, and to distribute that SSN #PRIVATELY# so that we could check the online public Selective Service database).

However, for some reason, that thread was quickly pulled.
