Some freepers thought they detected a seal in microscopy, but nowhere near enough to establish WHAT seal. Not even any letters or ensignias. Just a hundred or so refractory pixels in what should be 50 thousand pixels on raised cotton paper.

I think a seal is something you can see and feel, not something you have to use forensics to establish.

However, the one with the faint 'seal' was manufactured and put on the site AFTER all the hub bub about no seal. I can see the forger going, "Oh, geeeze, I shoulda got ahold of an embosser -"
