And the phony explanation about why she was on Mercer Island so soon after the birth she hadn't figured out how to change diapers in August of 1961--Susan Blake's testimony that she was on her way to Boston to see Obama Sr. who was at Harvard when the record is clear that he wasn't at Harvard in Boston until a year later.
NOTE: A high-school acquaintance of Stanley Ann Dunham told me that Stanley Ann and baby Barry came through town alone in August 1961 on their way to see Barack Sr. at Harvard in Boston, and that Barack Sr. was not present at his son’s birth. This explanation surprised me because supposedly Barack Sr. did not go to Boston until 1963, two years later. If the account is true, however, it would indicate that time lines provided by Obama about his family history are inaccurate. On this note, I was told by a reporter who investigated Stanley Ann Dunham that she enrolled briefly at the Univ. of Washington in Spring, 1962, and lived in Seattle alone with baby Barack. Perhaps they never lived together as a family.
Barack Hussein Obama Snr lived at the YMCA -IIRC. There's no reason to assume they ever lived at the same address in Hawaii.
Said to be knocked up in Hawaii Dec 1960, married in Maui in Feb 1961, in class at U Wash in Mar 1961, Barack born at ? in Aug 1961, newborn at Mercer Island WA in Aug 1961.
If I look at that and don't squint very hard I see four know location data points, two in Hawaii, well before Barack was born, and two in Washington bracketing when Barack was born.
If I knew nothing else, I'd interpolate the birth as being in Washington, especially given that Mercer Island was within "a few weeks" of birth...
