During the past year, several federal agencies – including the Department of Homeland Security, the State Department, and the National Counter Terrorism Center – have declared a war on words. Specifically, these agencies have issued memoranda discouraging their employees from naming the enemy in the War on Terror. The prohibition included words such as “jihad,” “Islamist,” “Islamofascism,” and “caliphate,” among others

Kudos to Cong. Pete Hoekstra!!!!

If somebody can give me some accurate, usable words to describe the jihadists and their ideology, that would neither "glorify them" nor "offend moderates," fine -- but until then, let's not stifle discussion on this global threat.

Perhaps the State Department should hire the writers from Farscape to coin some new words to describe the frelling dranicks!

Someone please send a copy of The Art of War to our legislators and State Department:
"If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle. "

Our political correctness is prevening us from understanding the enemy. This willful ignorance stems from the president (evidently still led by Grover al-Norquist) down the lot.

My tagline, is quite apt for our current situation.
