They don’t make them large enough to fit their big heads.

I want the 50s back.Culturally it was the best decade in the last century. For political leadership it is between Coolidge and Reagan.

They looked stupid in the 60s, they look stupid now.. just like the BUG EYE SUNGLASSES that are now back en vogue, they looked idiotic then, they look idiotic now.

Like, groovy, man. You can almost smell the patchouli and body odor.

Many celebs from Elle Macpherson to Mischa Barton, Ashley Simpson, and Nicole Richie have been spotted wearing this instant style piece.I'll give Elle Macpherson a pass, but no one should want to emulate the rest of the alleged celebs listed in any way. They are about 37 seconds away from each getting their own VH1 Celebreality show.

Why can't the 60s and the hippie culture just die? Seriously. Being skanky and unwashed was unattractive then and is still unattractive.

Those were heady days. She was the bass player in an all-female punk rock band. I was ten years her senior, and she wasn’t old enough to drink. I don’t regret a minute of it.

When I was younger I used to have long hair, and I would sometimes put on a headband to tie it back in the summer. Being a stereotypical looking Swedish-American (6'6” and blond), I really had the Viking look going. I think it was way more badass than these hippie wimps.
To: Mister Ghost
Apparently the look is catching on overseas as well...

"Bows and flows of angel hair
And Ice cream castles in the air
And feather canyons everywhere
I've looked at clouds that way..."
That was one of the first songs I learned to play on the guitar when I was a teenager. It had been out for some time...I think it's a 60s song? ;-)

Actually, I learned that song from a set of decade albums I had when I was a teenager. I had the 50s, 60s and 70s (all separate albums) and they were collections of songs from those eras.
It's how I learned about "Runaround Sue," amd "Locomotion" and "Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow," to name a few. "Both Sides Now" was on one of those albums and I liked it and learned how to play it on the guitar.
