The issue has become not whether the circumstances and loacation of Obama/Soetoro’s birth qualify or disqualifiy him from the Presidency, but whether the forging and alteration of official documents does.
Given the apparent fact that Maya Seotoro’s Hawaii birth certificate (itself questionable) was used as the basis for the forgery, it seems unlikely that Obama/Soetoro will be able to credibly claim innocence in the affair.
His goose is cooked, and I think he knows it.

EXACTLY! People seem to be missing this point. Whatever the actual circumstances of his birth, nationality, religion or whatever, this proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that he’s a two-faced opportunist willing to break any law to achieve his ends. Hardly POTUS material.
I've been following the birth certificate issue for a while, and I still see the main desire is to disqualify Obama on constitutional ground. Having said that, if the issue has moved to the forgery of official documents, we might want to make a different kind of noise.

Has anyone produced her certificate? It does seem odd she would have a Hawaian certificate. Newspaper birth announcement for her?
