Let me see if I understand what you’re saying.
A deliberate forgery was created knowing it would be uncovered, just so they could later debunk the forgery accusations while never supplying the original...
Am I getting this right?

Uh..yeah, if you had said this like two months ago.
Now, my"forgery accusations" are "debunk-" proof.

The way I read it, Polarik's saying that a deliberate forgery was made, hoping it wouldn't be uncovered. If it were, though, the forger is someone not obviously connected to the campaign, which would then make it simply a "this is not the birth certificate I knew" moment.
The question of whether Obama can supply either an authentic COLB or original birth certificate in the name of Barack Obama II is more problematic, IMO.

I think this is correct. In another post I used he term "chasing rainbows"and some Freepers flamed me. The term goes back to the early 60s in NYC and a Daily News sport writer named Gene Ward. He use the term to describe the actions of a defensive line in football that was being repeatedly fooled by the ball handling skill of the other team's QB. The first time I rmember seeing it was in Ward's story of a NY Giant loss to the mediocre Washington Redskins which had been engineered by the ball handling wizardry of the diminutive QB Eddie LeBaron.
The folks at Kos, FTS, and the haloed one's campaign have had many chasing rainbows over the COLB, the school records,et.al. Some have seen through it. Over at LGF posts regarding this topic are banned and no links are permitted to the site of that deranged Hillary supporter Texas Darling. I would never call for a ban here, but if I read polarik correctly many have been had by the ball handling of the other side.
