Ah, no. Bitmaps, to include DIBs, can be 32 bit color to include an alpha blending value. 8-bit bitmaps are rtestricted to 256 colors, but not all bitmaps.

Yes, I know that, but I did say that the image was edited as an 8-bit bitmaps, did I not? But, for clarification purposes, it's worth repeating. Thanks for the info.
