Funny, now that you mention it, I've seen a lot fewer Obama signs this year, than I did Kerry signs in '04.

I remember seeing the Kerry and thinking "You've GOT to be kidding. Who could POSSIBLY support Kerry?". so every one of those signs stood out to me.

Granted, I'm in Georgia, and outside of Atlanta, I'm sure that Obama's not going to draw too well, but there's always someone willing to play "radical" and put up an opposition sign......just not this year for some reason.

Wonder who hold campaigns accountable for all the money they take in. With the million Obama has took in donations, $66 million in August alone, imagine how easy it would be to shave off several millions, that is, if no one is watching.

I took a stroll down to the office that this lady is “seeking donations” for and found an horrible looking campaign office with hand drawn signs all over the windows and then a “professionally made” sign telling people the three ways they can vote.

I think you have hit on something. If Obama is opening as many new state campaign offices, as some of his supporters are claiming. Office space doesn't come cheap.

raising money to buy ads

and raising money to buy ads.

i’m not qualified to say whether this is productive or counter-productive. there must be some point where it’s overkill.
