I don’t know about the “arab” thing, but Obama is not in any way an “African-American” in the cultural sense. No way, No how. Period. None of his ancestors were slaves in this country, and he never ever had to experience life as a black person descended from slaves in mainstream American culture. Heck, he’s never had to experience life in mainstream America at all. He’s a complete and total fraud on all fronts.

You have a good point. He grew up in Indonesia and hawaii. In hawaii he was raised by his typical white grandparents. I would love to hear a tape of his voice from back then.
At some point he was able to affect a” black accent”. Perhaps they had classes on talking “ghetto black” in Trinity church. But blacks that I grew up with spoke with the same accent I spoke with.

I like the Arab angle maybe it could be shown that some of his fore fathers sold black into slavery. Would that make him the man?

That’s the important point here. BHO has ancestry in the slave trade, but on the wrong side. He’s more likely to be descended from slave traders than slaves. The “black Arab” bidness probably doesn’t fly. But African Muslims were principals in the slave trade (often east-bound as much as west) for generations. Still are to this day.
