DVD Slideshow Program? VANITY
October 9, 2008 | me

I have more than one dvd creating program on my computer. I purchased Nero a couple of years back to create slideshows with our photography, but it constantly seizes up and dies, and I have to start over.

Does anyone have a suggestion for a freeware program that's easy to use and would allow me to add music? Does anyone know anything about Slideshow GUI?

I downloaded a trial version of Pro Show Gold, and it's VERY easy to use - it's just that our main business is construction related, and well, you know....

TOPICS: Arts/Photography; Computers/Internet
KEYWORDS: download; dvd; photography; software
Thanks - I'll check back in in a few.

Google has an excellent and low learning curve program. It is called PicassaII and of course it is free. Have your comments ready for the pictures as it allows you to put those in too.

Use google crop to crop them down to about 640 X 480 and they will load faster.

You can use the google tools to touch them up first.

I have Movie Maker and it was easy - either I don’t know how to make it play on our dvd player after finishing it, or it’s the wrong format.
