Ask your friend if they would vote for Obama if he was friends with Timothy Mcveigh. Then when he says of course not. Ask him what’s the difference between Bill Ayers and Timothy Mcveigh besides the body count. They were both domestic terrorists. They both were at war with the federal government. They both used bombs as a means to fight the federal government. And they both are unrepentant. Timothy Mcveigh is Bill Ayers is Timothy Mcveigh.

Hell - I knew I was a redneck and I’m proud to be one. Your friend doesn’t seem to understand that the phrase is a compliment. I’d rather have a hundred rednecks at my back than five thousand liberals like your friend.

“White privilege is when you can get pregnant at seventeen like Bristol Palin and everyone is quick to insist that your life and that of your family is a personal matter, and that no one has a right to judge you or your parents, because “every family has challenges,” even as black and Latino families with similar “challenges” are regularly typified as irresponsible, pathological and arbiters of social decay.”

The difference is the Palin family will take care of their own family, the Latino who gets pregnant demands that the American tax payer raise the child and are not allowed to complain because that would be racist. The American tax payer is not even allowed to question the fact that she broke into this Country illegally! Does that answer your question gender bender?

lol.

I have no plans to speak to her for a while. Lost too much respect. Hope she can turn her life around. It’s funny, she actually retired VERY early on money her (white)grandfather left her. Sad case.

"... like yourself who makes over 250k"

It amazes me still that so many people earning well over any average, people who should have a stake in the system, believe that they can 'change' it (cripple it) without suffering themselves.

Like this oaf, they seem convinced that their own special circumstances are so unique as to protect them from the results of their actions.
Unfortunately, this would probably hold true for the Soros' and Oprahs out there, for Pelosi, Frank, and Farrakan, but even those worthies would be crushed as soon as they were suspected of dissension from the party line.

Someone should publish a comic book version of the Russian Revolution so these yo-yos could see, at their own intellectual level, what happens to enablers, dissenters, and useful idiots.

“Liberals are very hard to be friends with.”

Amen. Their false “moral superiority” combined with the lack of ability to use facts to win their arguments results in name-calling and yelling. My husband and I have noticed that when liberals debate on Fox News (like Juan Williams), they resort to getting louder and talking over the conservatives. Meanwhile, their point is usually based on emotion not facts.

I don’t have any liberal friends anymore. My liberal friends have been the most self-absorbed, American-hating, depressed people in my life.

Ayers even acknowledged his guilt. When he was interviewed by David Horowitz in 2001, Ayers said, “Guilty as hell; free as a bird” and then something about how great America is.

I am sorry that you received this kind of ‘information’ from one whom you once called friend.
In these past 8 years, I have found myself in the midst of friends who just assume that I am a virulent leftie like they are because, well, I seem so ‘normal’, so ‘nice’ etc.
I remember when I was young that differences in political opion seemed to separate people LESS.
It’s as though the Civil War taught people to ‘never discuss religion or politics at the dinner table’ and the last decade or so has eroded that sage advice.
I was having dinner with 5 women friends when the subject of Bush came up. Some of the ‘ladies’ pounded the table with their fists while howling outrage, others derided loudly to ‘stupid’ people who believe that ape etc. I was shocked.
Likewise, I was in a car with colleagues when the subject of Bush came up and a person whom I respect turned to me and wondered aloud how people could ‘really be that simple’ to believe in or vote for him.
The work situation came to a head when, at an afterhours gathering of colleagues, one colleague indicated to the others ‘SHE is not one of US’ when the subject of Iraq came up. All heads turned my way, and one woman spoke my name in disbelieving, crushed tones.
For once I had words to curtail this behavior. I said “I am against children’s prisons. I could tell you in detail about the children’s prisons in Iraq but then none of us would have the heart to touch the food we just ordered. The barbaric abuses of humans is not limited to the children’s prisons, it’s just the most glaring, the most nightmarish, and the simplest way I can tell you that I do care what happen to people in Iraq”
Well, they froze and changed the subject in a neutral manner and I was not ostracized later. It’s odd that I have to ‘ prove’ that I am decent and if I don’t, I and anyone else not voting Democrat can be ‘discarded’ as more barbarous at heart than a medieval dictator.
It’s odd that the Dems have made the vote a decision between ‘decent’ and ‘indecent’ when I always thought dem/repub was dilineated by degree of power given to gov., degree of desire for gov. intervention etc.

“I mean, lets face it, our health care system isn’t the best in the world, our education system sucks, just look at where we rank in the world, our social security system is one of the worst in the world but because of what are we the greatest country in the world?”

I stopped reading this drivel right here. So let me make a couple of comments.

1. “our health care system isn’t the best in the world,” Really? Whose is the best in the world? Cuba? This idiot has no idea. Yes, our health care system IS the best in the world.

2. “our education system sucks, just look at where we rank in the world,” Yep, liberal run. Enough said.

3. “our social security system is one of the worst in the world” Democrat socialist ponzai scheme, that your friend would love to be the pattern that destroys our health care system. Enough said.

4. “because of what are we the greatest country in the world?” We are the greatest country in the world because of rugged, freedom loving individuals. Something that always confuses collectivist, group think sheeple.

Gotta go, it is miller time!

Thank you for your service, it is very appreciated. Every day in fact! Keep your chin up and remember that the views you see on a daily basis, pushed by the America-haters, is not the majority of this country. Governor Palin is a better representative of what most feel.

I’m seeing more and more red being worn on Fridays! The silent majority is being “seen and not heard.”

Thanks again, you and your fellow troopers are very appreciated.

I’m gonna go celebrate my freedom with an MGD now, so I hope you stay safe always and I will see any response when I get to log back on next week.

Bad example. Many Latinos are good Catholics with strong family values. The reason that Latina girl is having her child is because she's pro-life in the first place.

The Latino vote pushed Bush over the top in 2004. Alienating decent, pro-family, legal Latino voters by harping on unfair stereotypes is not helpful in a tight election.

This may get me in trouble, but that sounds more like a black family than a Latino one (I've lived among both).
