Gallup has it a statistical tie, most others have it at 4-6 point difference which is typical this time of year for a dem getting favorable treatment just before losing to the Pub.
Some people on here are in denial but we are in a huge fight. Just look to the states where the money and visits are being poured into. Almost all of those battlegrounds were red last time. Last time was a very close election and this race is being fought almost entirely on defense. That is troubling. McCain has a solid chance but BHO is a formidable threat and I think a lot of people on here badly underestimate him and the potential that he might actually pull it off.

You hit the nail on the head. You said you are going to pray. I think that is the only thing we can do now. I know your pain, but I also think there may be something larger at hand. The headlines on yahoo news today are Christians being killed in Iraq and India for their beliefs. We are about to elect someone who lies and says he is Christian, but is not and who people worship like the Messiah. Hit your knees, crack your Bible to Revelation.

It dealt with the subject of how the Lord likes to do things in such a miraculous way using people to accomplish things when it looks like it is just an impossibility in the eyes of man. - I don’t know if it has anything to do with the election, but who knows?
Sweet Jesus. I’m starting to think that FR has been overrun by teenage girls. The only poll that matters is the election. Even if McCain were going to lose, crying and wringing your hands does NOTHING to help. In the immortal words of the Terminator: “Anger is more useful than despair”.

There’s nothing more exciting that being down and prevailing at the 11th hour. Soldier on. There are dynamics in this race which could defy history. Economics normally favor the ‘outsider’. But if we can expose Obama’s involvement in the economic meltdown, along with his radical side, we could do the ‘impossible’.

Wow, that is how I feel most days, then I try to turn it over to the Lord, then I take it back, etc., etc. My family is so in the bag that I have stopped having political discussions with them. They live in LA, NYC, Texas and Florida,not to mention the ones in Ohio.
