Yup. They could have let the story die a natural death. But they've decided to keep it alive, and now it's going to backfire on them, big time. I'm having a hard time working up some sympathy for them.
Megyn Kelly had Howard Wolfson and Mike Huckabee on this morning. Howard started talking about the tax liens on Joe, that he's not a licensed plumber, that his real name isn't Joe, yada, yada, yada. Megyn jumped right on him about it all, and kept screaming: "So what!! So what!! It's not about Joe. It's what Obama said." Both she and Huckabee basically shut Howard down. It was beautiful. And to think I was going to change the channel because I'd seen Wolfson's face on the screen. I can't stand the guy, but I'm glad I ended up watching.
