I think it relates to privacy issues. Even the Governor of a state can’t unilaterally dig into someone’s birth records without a subpoena. I think in this case, the only way the facts will come out is via public pressure. The MSM certainly doesn’t care.
What’s ironic is that when the average bloke needs a security clearance, he has to provide a valid birth certificate (among other documentation) just to have access to classified information. But no investigation is done for the POTUS, who will, presumably, have access to the nation’s highest secrets.
Sarah Palin 'fired' a certain employee under her authority and the liberals went insane accusing her of all manner of things. Liberals are the law and they would in a heart beat tear up and down the Governor of Hawaii for daring to enter a door they own.
