I truly do not mean to be insulting, but this falls far short of true satire and could be damaging to FR’s reputation. Please consider asking to have this piece deleted.

Aunt Mame is requesting I have this piece deleted. So ping your lists so that this can be put to a vote on whether this is satire or not, and whether this piece should remain.

So the first question: Is this satire?

All those that say it is satire, vote aye.

Second question: Should the satire piece stay?

All those voting to keep it, vote aye.

All those voting to have the mod delete it, vote nay.

If the vote tends toward deletion, I will ask the mod to remove it so as to not scar FR's good name. However, if the vote tends toward keeping it, then I will report those results to Aunt Mame and the Admin Moderator.

Since this is not funny or ironic, I would say it is not satire. It is a statement of our times. I would vote NAY for question one.

For question two - Yes the piece should stay. There shouldn’t be this kind of censorship at FR. I feel deleting would harm FR’s reputation more than leaving it.
