This is called "projection" in psychology. I own a business, and I'll bet there are a LOT more professionals(doctors, lawyers, etc.), business owners, scientists, executives, teachers and managers here than on DU, Kos and HuffandBlow, combined. You err in assuming that everyone understands your particular brand of "geek speak". Also, better formatting of your main post would make things much clearer - like putting some spaces between different quotes, etc.
