if they were not compelled to answer, said nothing, or walked away, that was their right. most of the time i simply want them to move along anyway. but that's how it goes here in NYC.
that being said, this guy's attitude can take a hike. if he had simply said, "officer, no offense, but i am on private property and unless you have reasonable suspicion that my wife or i have committed a crime i would prefer not to answer any of your questions" he would have gotten a big "so long, sir" from me.
yeah this "officer" seems like a tool, but common courtesy should be extended to everyone, cop or otherwise. sounds like this ol gunny needs a lesson in manners. i bet he's a real hit at parties.
Yeah right, let`s get all those unPC folks out there if and when they fail to suckup!
Could it be that he`d put up with this crap on previous occasions in like situations on private property and having committed no offense?
No matter, ol gunnys are fair game for the PC (for oneself) crowd—so the `frustrated cashiers` can play crimefighter in some fashion after all.
Ya can shock the sh!t troops
But ya cannot sh!t the shock troops
Have a nice day, citizen.
manners go a long way in a polite society.
Obviously the guy is an idiot but no criminal.
